Our Story
Fire Medic Safety Solutions (FMSS) was started to provide top quality education of cpr/aed use, first aid skills, and life saving knowledge in Springfield, Ohio. Since we have started we have educated 1000’s of people all over Ohio, from Cincinnati to Cleveland, & Indiana to Dayton, Springfield, & Columbus areas. We have taught School students/staff/coaches, Healthcare workers from student to Doctors & Educators. We only use experienced instructors who have performed the skills they teach and that are active in those fields. All of our instructors are experienced & active Firefighters/Paramedics and are able to give students real life scenarios and answer questions based on science and experience and make sure you receive true, up to date information on class information.
In 2017 we opened up a brick & mortar classroom located inside Governors Manor at 2100 E. High St, Springfield, OH 45505, We are located in Suite TL2 which is in the very bottom left of the building if looking at the building from High St, Just look for the large American Heart Logo. This move was done to assist the several student who needed AHA classes but were not employed through an office, hospital, school, department etc... or for those who missed their training dates through their employer. We strive to provide a fun & relaxing atmosphere and make the best of the training you receive, as well as making sure you feel confident in your skills when you complete any of our classes.
We know that sometimes life gets in the way and that things slip our minds, some of our students contact us as their employers have given them a strict deadline to complete the course or lose hours at work, We know this can be stressful and have made sure that all our cpr/aed, first aid, BLS, and Healthcare Provider cpr classes are able to have cards in hand the day of the class and we will also scan and pdf the card to your school/ employer to ensure that no hours are lost and there is no waiting for cards. In 2018 we started to provide ACLS Renewals at our location, These classes are provided by at least twice a month and can be a package deal with your BLS renewal. We also can come to you and take care of your ACLS & BLS (CPR) Renewals at your location if you have a minimum of 5 students, (Contact us for pricing and combo deals), ACLS Cards are sent via Ecard and usually received within 48hrs.
