🧶 Bearded Beacons Presents: Krochet for Kids 🖤
Here at Bearded Beacons, we are launching Krochet for Kids to make a real difference in the lives of children going through a tough time.
We aren't looking for big blankets or winter beanies. Instead, we are looking for something a child can hold right in the palm of their hand. We need little animals, tiny critters, crocheted hearts, and small pocket-sized companions.
Sometimes, when the world feels overwhelming, having something small to squeeze and hold onto makes all the difference. These tiny creations are truly created for comfort, giving kids a tangible sense of security and a reminder that someone out there is in their corner.
How you can help us light the way:
• Grab a Hook: Can you whip up some small amigurumi animals, little monsters, or pocket hearts? We need your skills!
• Donate Supplies: If you have extra yarn lying around, we can use it to make these little hand-held companions.
• Share the Mission: Help us spread the word by sharing this post so we can reach more creators.

To the people that see my posts… this one actually matters.

Krochet for Kids is still going, and I could use your help.

We’re collecting small crocheted items… the kind a kid can hold onto when everything around them feels too big. Police, EMS, hospitals… they keep these on hand for kids going through some of the worst moments of their lives. And I’ve seen firsthand what something this small can do.

If you crochet… make a few. Doesn’t have to be perfect. Just made with some heart.

If you don’t crochet… you can still help:
– Yarn donations
– Small toys or comfort items
– $10 gas cards (helps me get these where they need to go)
– Even just sharing this post

I can pick up, you can drop off, or mail works too. I’ll make it easy.

This isn’t some big organization with a boardroom and meetings. It’s just me trying to make sure a kid isn’t sitting in a scary moment with nothing.
