Hi!

I live in Springfield, Oregon and I’m a mom of 4 and a grandma of 2. I’ve wanted to be a Doula since before I knew the name of what the job was. I had assumed you needed a degree to be a Birth Doula and as soon I found out exactly how to become a Doula… I did!

I completed my Doula and Postpartum training in April 2024 through SMC Doulas in Portland and it was a wonderful experience!

I was a 20 year old single mom when I had my oldest daughter and I birthed alone, just myself, the nurse and my OB and it was an experience that I never wanted to repeat alone or have anyone I knew do alone. It was scary but my daughter is absolutely amazing and I gained so much compassion and empathy from that experience that will help me in being a Doula for others.

I will support you, advocate with you for your needs and desires and be there as little or as much as you need. I will also be there for you postpartum; holding your baby so you can shower, washing laundry, doing dishes, making meals, you tell me what you need and I can accommodate you.

I can meet with you virtually over zoom or of course in person. My goal is to keep my Doula business small and be on call when you need me taking only a couple clients at a time. If you wake up at 3am and need to talk, I can accommodate that.

Being pregnant, giving birth, having a newborn and being a brand new parent all can be anxiety producing and at the same the happiest times of your life! I understand that completely!
