SAVE THE DATE:
The Dayton VA Medical Center is celebrating National Cancer Survivors Day on Friday, June 2, 2023, 10:00-3:00.
There be a Cancer Walk and Vendor Fair. The walks will be every hour on the hour from 10:00 to 2:00.
The Celebration will be held in the Multipurpose Building, #305, on the VA Campus. All certified DOGTORS AAT Teams are welcome to attend, you do not need to be VA Volunteer.

The note below is the response after those amazing DogTors Teams paid a visit to the Waynesville School after their recent tragedy.

From Cristina at the Waynesville school:
Hi Meredith: I just wanted to thank you again for recommending Dogtors. They really came through. Six adorable dogs came to our Performing Arts Center this morning and the kids were able to split off into small groups and really get some much needed puppy love. Several of the staff told me that it was the first time some of those kids smiles since receiving the news of their classmates’ tragedy. The volunteers stayed for 2 hours and were so wonderful and professional with the children and the staff. I sent them all home with goodie bags for their dogs. Please thank your contact for me. Hello Teams, Spring is coming, and along with it is Mechanicsburg Public Library’s PAWS for Reading.
Dates are Saturday, April 15 and Saturday, April 29.
Time slots for readers are 10:00, 10:30, and 11:00. We would love to have 4 Therapy Dogs - or cats - for each time slot. If you can help, please let Edith know by phone or text to 937 284-0707 or DOGTORS e-mail.

Teams visited Carlisle Junior/Senior HS on Jan 9th to help students relieve stress during exam week.
In attendance:
Vinny Valentine, Gabby, Morgan, Mattis, JD, Scout and Reggie.

Teams are still needed for another event at Carlisle Elementary school on Feb 16th.

Hello Teams, DOGTORS has been invited back to Carlisle Local School District. Several weeks ago we visited their
Jr/Sr High School for stress reduction during exam week. This upcoming event would be for their Elementary School, Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Date: Thursday, February 16th, 10:30 to 1:15.
Address: 250 Jamaica Road, Carlisle Ohio.
We will be in the gym so there will be plenty of room for the dogs to have their own space.
