Wow, sometimes you don’t realize how far you have come until you look at old pictures.

Old me, was happy and feeling good, new me is strong and confident! I am healthier, can move more with less aches and pains and inflammation. New me has more energy and sleeps better. But the best part of new me is I’m helping my family and my clients to become healthier as well.

It’s all about small changes in the right direction to make big changes. Progress over perfection. Learning and becoming healthier is a process, it takes time, but it’s worth every minute!

Wow, sometimes you don’t realize how far you have come until you look at old pictures.

Do you have a sweet tooth?

Did you know that your sweet tooth may be causing you unable to fight viruses and bacteria as well as it should?

According to an article by Mercer Livingston, “too much sugar in your system allows the bacteria or viruses to propagate much more because your initial innate system doesn’t work as well”

What this means is too much sugar reduces your body’s ability to fight viruses and infections.

It takes only 75 grams of sugar to weaken your immune system

Just FYI:
One can of soda has 45 grams of sugar
A cupcake about 47 grams of sugar
Sports drinks about 35 grams of sugar

The goal should be only 25 grams of sugar a day.

So, what could you change to reduce your sugar intake? Try drinking more water instead of sugary drinks, try eating fruit instead of candy and limit a sweet to nuat once a week, ao atill wnjky, but within reason

5. Consistency, rather than perfection, is the goal 80% of the time, as sustainability is key to long-term success.
6. Celebrating non-scale victories is crucial.

Imagine starting spring healthier snd stronger!

When I hit mid-life, I was unmotivated, lacked energy and felt hopeless with the pounds that kept creeping on.
