This week in speech and language therapy, we created picture scenes with painter’s tape. Here are a few of the ways we worked on goals with tape:
🗣️ targeting specific sounds while using the tape (ie. initial /r/ in “rip” or /s/-cluster in “stick”)
☀️describing objects in the picture scene (ie. the sun is bright, round and hot)
🌊categorizing (ie. placing vehicles based on their location)
❓modeling questions and gestalts while playing
📋planning a picture and problem-solving when the tape did not work as expected
