Akoma Healing & Consultation turns 5!!!🥹💜 Five years ago, I started this practice thinking I would only take on 3-5 clients. Then, by the end of 2020, I had 12 clients, a waiting list, and a contract with a community partner. Just this week, I had the honor of doing a mental health workshop to show community members how to find clinical services. It was the sweetest reminder that the work is still needed and if accessible, people WILL take steps toward wellness.

AHC has taken so many different forms over the years and my hope is that it continues to be an organization that meets the needs of the community. I am happy to announce that I am able to supervise LMSW for clinical licensure!🥳. In addition, I am accepting requests for Mental Health First Aid and other mental health workshop needs for Summer 2025. Thank you to all the clients, colleagues, and agencies that have trusted me with their care and kept my business afloat. You all have made entrepreneurship one of my greatest rewards.
