COVID-19 has changed our lives forever, we just don't know to what extent. I urge each of you to take an inventory of what is important in life. My particular focus is ensuring you have your Advance Directive documents in order and have shared them with your loved ones. I am available to help you work through the details - cbaum1life@gmail.com or check out my website - 1life1decision1story.com.

Things change....just like that.....remember when you went to work, the kids went to school, we dined out and saw movies in public? Having your end-of-life wishes documented provides all that love you peace of mind and the opportunity to honor your wishes. While things are different for us, take action and be ready for the unexpected.

"I have an advance directive, not because I have an illness, but because I have a family." Ira Byock, MD

National Health Care Decision Day

Annually we draw a focus on the importance of having the conversation about your end-of-life wishes with your loved ones while you are healthy. That day is National Health Care Decision Day (NHDD), set for April 16th and throughout the entire month of April. This year the Corona Virus has restricted those efforts but never fear, the event has been rescheduled for July 16th, the day after the revised IRS taxes due date. There are two things guaranteed in life - death and taxes. NHDD always follows tax day so it is easy to remember. Visit the Meaningful Life website, 1life1decision1story.com, and find resources that can help you get started. Reach out to me at cbaum1life@gmail.com and we can begin that conversation and work towards a completed Advance Directive that allows your loved ones to honor your wishes. I welcome the opportunity to chat and figure out how to get started. Carla
