“We talk about them because we’re proud. We talk about them, because they deserve to be remembered. We talk about them because even though they are not physically with us, they are never far from our mind. We talk about them because they are part of us, a part that we could never ignore or disown. We talk about them because we love them still and always will. Forever. Nothing will ever change that.”

Sometimes you just need someone to hold space for what you’re carrying.

This week only, I’m offering 30-minute virtual grief support sessions for anyone going through:
• Loss of a loved one
• Major life transition
• Emotional heaviness that’s hard to name

This is not therapy—it’s a space to breathe, release, and be heard.

Instead of saying, "I know what it feels like", let's say "I cannot imagine your heartbreak".

Instead of saying, "you're strong, you'll get through this, let's say " you'll hurt, and I'll be here.

Instead of saying, "you look like you're doing well, let's say, "how are you holding up today?"

Instead of saying, "healing takes time", let's say "healing has no timeline". Instead of saying, “everything happens for a reason, let's say "this must feel so terribly senseless right now" and when there are no words to say at all, you don't need to try and find some.

Love speaks in silences too.

🙏🏾💙💛💙🕊️🕊💔🕊️🕊️💙💛💙🙏🏾
A person who loses a partner is called a widow. A child who loses a parent is called an orphan. But there is no word to describe a parent who loses a child, because that is a loss like no other.

So will you put this as your status for just 1 hour. I'm pretty sure I know the ones who will.

Think of someone you know or love who's lost a child & take a few minutes to honor every child gone too soon...and every parent left here to live without them. We will always have them in our spirit. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
