The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) is a prestigious academic honor society dedicated to recognizing and empowering high-achieving students across the globe. They connect scholars with opportunities in leadership, college readiness, career development, and community impact.

As an Ambassador, I get to be a voice for the society — helping spread awareness of the incredible resources and recognition NSHSS offers to students just like me.

Ambassadors play a vital role in inspiring the next generation of scholars by sharing their stories, uplifting their communities, and proving that excellence has no limits. 💡📚

Being part of this program last year was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The memories, the lessons, the magic — I carry all of it with me every single day. But what I treasure most? The friendships. I met some of the most incredible people, and we still keep in touch to this day. 💙

What’s up I know I haven’t been posting as much lately, but life has been busy in the best way. I’ve been working hard to finish my 3rd comic book while also touring colleges, and it’s honestly surreal. I still can’t believe I started Team Tech Boy at just 12 years old, and now I’m at the point of visiting colleges and thinking about the future. Grateful for every step of this journey. 💙

Tech Boy is a children’s comic about a teenager named Tyriq Summerbird who gains technology-based powers in Cyber City, Missouri, and must stop the evil Titan Ray from destroying the city. Along the way, the story encourages young readers to explore STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. As a young author, Strickland created this book to inspire youth to get excited about science and technology.
