WE’RE BACK!

After a few technology snafus, we’re officially back at it and excited to share that we now have TWO open part-time positions for EMS Outreach Coordinators.

If you love working with EMS partners, teaching, collaborating, and making a real impact on trauma and pediatric care across our region, this might be your spot. This role is all about building relationships, delivering meaningful education, supporting EMS agencies, and being a key connector between prehospital providers and our hospital team.

You’ll get to be out in the field, in the classroom, and at the table helping drive education, outreach, and system improvement while joining a team that truly values EMS engagement.

We are excited to be partnering with Maryland Heights Fire Protection District next Saturday, April 18th, for a car seat check event 🚗 Join us from 10:00am - 1:00pm to have your child's seat checked by certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians!

Big week for trauma outreach 🤍 SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital

This week we partnered with our Collinsville-area community for a full-scale school shooter drill....and when we say it took a village, we mean it. Fire, EMS, law enforcement, SLU Nursing students, and local high school students all came together to make this happen.

Our team stepped in as evaluators and ran the makeshift hospital where patients were transported while also keeping a close eye on something just as important: making sure every student was supported both physically and emotionally throughout the entire drill.

And the students? They didn’t just participate…they COMMITTED.
The acting? Emmy-worthy. Oscar-worthy. Tony-worthy. Every award-worthy.

But behind all of that realism is the reason we do this:
These trainings are hard. They’re heavy. And they matter.
Because preparation doesn’t happen in isolation...it happens in partnership.

And days like this make our communities stronger, more connected, and more ready to respond when it matters most.
