Mariah Carey is trying to tell you that NOW is the time to talk about this!

➡️ Let’s clear one thing up - is it fair that you have to bring this up?

NO, not in any way, shape, or form.

But you will NOT be silent about it anymore. In the name of self-advocacy, you are speaking up, loud and often.

1️⃣ “with the holidays coming quickly, I’d like to sit down weekly to look at the calendar and make sure we’re on the same page with everything. Which time works better for you, X or Y?”

2️⃣ compare calendars, ensure same page-ness about schedules

3️⃣ “I’d also like to talk about Thanksgiving this year. I never enjoy it because XYZ. I’d like to talk about what’s required for the day and how we can work together to accomplish that.”

Then make a list, together. Then delegate, TOGETHER.

Oh, and he takes the lead with his own family, got it?

✨ It started with a single client.

She told me she had no one in her life that felt safe to talk to about the fear and stress the was feeling as a mom in 2025.

🔥 endless news cycle
🔥 mom guilt for feeling like this is hard when so many worse things seem to be happening around us
🔥 constant state of fear
🔥 feeling judged around every corner
🔥 feeling powerless
🔥 compassion fatigue

So I made a support group for that (I’m a therapist; I’m allowed!). Here’s what we talk about in Moms Out Loud:

☺️ widening our window of tolerance for regulation
☺️ fight, flight, freeze, and fawn
☺️ information boundary setting
☺️ identification and self-advocacy of our basic needs
☺️ coping with fear and stress while actively parenting
☺️ nervous system regulation

I’m opening the second cohort in January. I’d love to have you!
