Early October dump. Spent a month and a half in a sleepy little town about am hour south of Burlington kansas for work. Was working 7/12s on nights which has its downsides for sure but being able to head to work in light and come home at the sunrise made for such great opportunities to play with a softer light for more subdued and yet detailed and color as well black and white.

I've got quite a few weeks worth of photos which surprised me. There isnt much in south east kansas but thats when the mundane and normal canmbe put under a microscope and focused on to a nice detail.

Ill put more up over the next few days from this job, some of them were on my story and some of them just stayed saved on my sd card.

A few weeks ago my younger brother came to town. Let him have a rip with my spare frame in downtown Clayton. Heres a good mix of what we both took, some subjects being the same with just the differences in our shooting styles.

More black and white as I find time to get my film.

Forgot to dump some photos from my dslr since I've been using film again for tbe last few months. Guess ill start dumping old photos while taking and uploading both new digital and new film.

Always enjoyed the intricate details of plants, got way too many photos of just plants, flowers and other related subjects but enjoy the first round.

invited me down for a quick event. Ran some small boi laps and took the snip snaps. Nothing fancy, still was getting used to the new lenses. Could be better, could be worse.

Got a decent length job in Kansas, and man, there is hardly anything to shoot out here photo wise. Wrong season for storms. It would be the perfect place if it were. Lots of old places, but they're not abandoned. And unlike missouri, they tear them down over time, which is both a good thing and a bad thing.

Regardless, the place im staying at has a decent Ferguson tractor just rotting away in the grass, which is nice. I'm going to take the time and try to branch out this weekend.

I will say, one of the nice things is how often I get to really use the pods I put on earlier this year, just shows me how badly I need to get more and provide the full 360° lighting I want out of this truck.

That's all. Its your once every few months update. Might throw some photos from my slush and worldwide tech track days.

The trucks first excursion out in a lower risk storm spotting and photography run was a tremendous success. The truck ran flawless, chewed through some of the heaviest rain I experienced all year and did it without breaking a sweat.

Made the trek out to KC for this moderate risk day that ended up busting but it's not a problem. I'm not ready to all out chase in the frontier yet either due to lack of equipment, both safety and technology wise, as well as my trust being built that I won't be left stranded in a very bad position.

The lightning sure was plentiful tonight and I was able to stop and get quite a few good photos including some that show me I was way closer than I thought to some of them. Either way, I'm ready to start really throwing effort getting bumpers, sliders and light mounts made so I can get some (definitely ) lights and amber safety lights as well as more search and rescue equipment mounted in the truck. It's around that time I redo my first aid and other training to make sure I'm ready for the upcoming 2025 storm season.

If you're a company that wants to work with someone actively chasing and responding to natural disasters, or know of one, feel free to reach out and ill gladly have a little chat. If it's a product I'd genuinely use then I'll gladly run it.

Alrighty then, we got something cooking it looks like. Snagged a set of KMC wheels and Kenda tires to get something onto the truck since I couldn't last any longer with a grandpa car. Slow build up like all the rest of the other projects since I ain't made of money. But in due time.

At this point in my life I'm just going to say f**k it, pick a random day and post whatever project I was working on. There are no tags, no hashtags, or anything else. Whoever sees it sees it. I'm not in the automotive industry anymore, so it really doesn't matter to me what happens, but I've never had the drive to show any of this until now.

Little brushed 3" stainless k15 action. Full purged and all the goodies, had a little fun driveshaft cross over to get a true dual and same side "Shotgun" exit. I believe material was a mix of stainless bros and a local distributor. Not that it really makes a difference. 304 is 304.

New city, New job, New industry same Ole bu****it with random electronics having the weirdest issues. Noticed my headlight housing had a lot of water after washing the 1er. Guess the rear gasket was slightly pinched and took water and it eventually got down into the lower drive. Super corroded but still works and I've got a clean car with a pleasant surprise coming up this weekend that'll be fun.

Been a rather exciting year for motorsports in my life, both personally and professionally, for the first time in many years. The E82 has gotten a lot of seat time being used and abused at events, cruises, long road trips followed by proper floggings. Taken like a champ, I must say.

A few little touches, a half cage, some buckets and some V3s, and maybe some aero if it seems deserving and it'll be sitting very happy for a long while.

All in all being said, it's been an amazing year getting involved again, falling back into the fun to make things and build/work on coolish cars and to absolutely beat everything to their limit. So while the e82 is getting some other eXX chassis is going to start getting the special sauce and finally can have a cool car again after it gets built from the ground up. It's a slow process, I'm not made of money, but a lot of the stuff will be the raddest work I've done up to date since the only thing holding me back is how wild I want to get on my personal car. Should be a rather fun 2024 if everything goes right.

Grid life Lime Rock Park recap.

Let me tell you what! Even though I've been away from social media, life hasn't stopped. Last week lime rock opened their doors to the grid life bois and we tore it up.
g.miller joined us to watch us have the first real mechanic issues since my joining of . For the few laps the car ran good, Juan put a damn fine time down.

Once the car biffed up it turned into troubleshooting mode and hang out with friends and make new ones. It was a genuinely good weekend spent camping, cooking, racing and drinking in the lime rock valley.

Next year the 128 is going to be there putting some hurt in the street class just to have the other cars put there.

Quick little stainless job from a few weeks ago. You know the deal, 304 purged with all the crispness.

Posts will certainly be much more random now but will include much larger projects that you definitely don't want to miss. Got a lot of wild things both work and personal life lined up that are going to be rather interesting.
