Spring Cohort applications are open!!
This is not a 3 days course on squeezing hips. This is a college level certification course, where you leave not just as a Certified Full Spectrum Doula but also a Certified Perinatal Community Health Worker.
We're not easy instructors and we don't let stuff slide because Black Maternal Health demands that you must know 2x as much and work 2x as hard to help ensure the mothers of our community make it home to their babies. Business, conflict resolution, anatomy, complications, and more are all covered.

Beautiful birth with a first time mom; no tears and a picture prefect labor, delivery, postpartum, and breastfeeding start.
Best part I got to assist Sacred Garden Midwifery & Lactation with catching the bundle of joy. My FIRST time catching a baby, but I'm very glad I called her when I did because this little baby came FAST.

These intimate networking opportunities will focus on the following.

✔️ Discussing information and recommendations from The One-year Postpartum Pathway and the Missouri Optimizing Postpartum Care Task Force
✔️ Highlighting local efforts to improve postpartum care delivery
✔️ Creating connections between attendees interested in improving postpartum care

Dinner is complimentary for attendees. Spots are limited.

These dinners are open to anyone providing care during the one-year postpartum period, including physicians, nurses, hospital and health care leadership, community-based organizations, doulas, midwives, birth workers, psychiatrists, therapists, peer support specialists, and more.

So excited that DNT Network has given me the opportunity to continue to grow in my craft. But more thankful that it is specially in an area where so many moms, parents, and people are just forgotten.
I am so honored that this will be a skill I can use in so many areas of my doula, doula training, and advocacy work.
