🔥 Sriracha Grilled Tofu (Sweet, Spicy & Crispy!)
This bold, flavor-packed tofu brings the heat and the crunch — perfect for topping bowls, salads, or serving as a holiday appetizer with a kick. 🌶️
Ingredients
1 block firm tofu, pressed
2 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp chili powder
ÂĽ cup water or vegetable broth
ÂĽ cup tapioca or arrowroot starch
ÂĽ cup unbleached all-purpose flour
Directions
Slice pressed tofu into your desired shape (strips, cubes, or steaks).
In a shallow dish, mix together sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, smoked paprika, chili powder, and water/broth.
Add the tofu and gently toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors soak in.
In a separate bowl, mix starch and flour. Lightly coat each tofu piece just before cooking.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry tofu for about 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crisp.
Serve hot with extra sriracha drizzle or a squeeze of lime. 🔥
