❌Credit Karma DOES NOT give you FICO scores! - Which is what mortgage lenders use.

Credit Karma gives you Vantage scores...

Credit Karma buys your scores for penny on the dollar, this is how they are able to furnish you with updates every 7 days.

Why? To get you to look at your scores and their AFFILIATE offers!...You know, the offers for those credit cards that say you have a fair, good or very good chance of being approved for.

Have you noticed they never say "You have a bad or poor chance⁉️”🤔

🚫Apply, get denied and now you have an inquiry on your credit profile. ⬇️ 😟

And those of you that are seeing you have a "chance" of getting approved for an American Express 💳 think again... You would be surprised to know, American Express only pulls from Experian for credit cards? 😮

“Last September I applied for several credit cards and no one would approve my with my 578 credit score, not even my Financial Institution. The beginning of October Capital One approved me with a 300.00 credit limit. That’s all i needed was for someone to give me a chance. I made my payments on time for 3 months but knew nothing about credit card utilization. Just by paying my on time and paying at least the minimum payment i saw a 19 point increase to my score.

A month later my score increased 10 points and i was approved for the Apple Card that i was denied for 5 months earlier.

CREDIT TIPS:
Question: I got a collection removed from my account and paid off my credit card. But my score has gone down.

Answer: Don’t worry! This is perfectly normal. Any major changes to your account (no matter if it’s good or bad) will often drop your scores temporarily but it’ll usually get back up in 30-60 days.

Question: I have a medical collection I disputed with the collection company. I didn’t hear back but I received an investigation report saying “verified as accurate” and the only remark was
“placed for collection”. What should I do next?

Answer: You have to make sure you give them a full 30 days and then get your updated reports on your own to see if they noted the dispute.

Question: If you haven’t used a credit card for a period of time and the card company decides to close your account for non-action, is that legal?

Answer: Yes. When you applied for the card and agreed to their terms, you’ve given them the authority to do pretty much anything they want.

So if they want to close your card, they can do so legally.

If you want to prevent this from happening in the future though, I would use those cards you barely use once every 6 months to show some activity.
