Welcome to the B3 Sciences Team SEMO page. I am excited you have decided to visit. I was introduced to BFR (Blood Flow Restriction...NOT OCCLUSION) training in October of 2018 by Dr. Mike DeBord. He spent over three hours with me and my sons, Andrew and Luke, explaining the benefits of BFR and putting all three of us through workouts with the B3 Bands.
Initially I was looking for a safe way for my oldest son, who was 13 at the time, to gain strength for Baseball prior to hitting puberty. I wasn’t aware of BFR before this, and a friend put me in contact with Dr. Mike. We drove from Houston to Dallas on October 4, 2018.....and the rest has been history. I was hooked after a 15 minute demo with the B3 Sciences BFR Bands.
In a nutshell, B3 Bands allow an everyday middle aged out of shape man, a teenager, a grandfather, a housewife, a career professional and yes...EVEN YOU...reach the same deep muscle fatigue levels attained only by Elite Athletes who have the stamina to work out for long periods of time, at very high intensity levels. Which means you can enjoy the same results that elite collegiate, olympic and professional athletes enjoy. In less than 15 minutes a day and you can change your health and fitness FOREVER!
Wanna get stronger and don’t have the time? Here you go! By gently and comfortably slowing down blood flow, BFR allows you to work out with half the weight, in half the time and see twice the results. Or maybe you are looking to increase your endurance as a runner, swimmer or biker! What if you could get the same deep muscle fatigue in half the distance/time with the same or better results?
