Lately I’ve been sitting with a simple but challenging question:
What happens when I choose observation over judgment?

I’ve been thinking a lot about how reality is different for each of us—how our thoughts, beliefs, experiences, and daily interactions shape the lens we see life through. I often invite others to look within with honesty and authenticity, and in doing so, I realized I needed to offer myself that same invitation.

Even though I’ve come a long way on my journey of self‑discovery and healing, there is still so much work to do. So I’ve started asking myself:
Where am I viewing others through a tainted lens?

Where am I assigning intentions to people based on my own past experiences and assumptions?

Am I asking others to do inner work that I’ve been unwilling to do myself?

These questions are not always comfortable, but they’re necessary. I want to be more open and willing to see myself clearly—to notice where my past perceptions keep showing up in my present, quietly shaping my future.

When we soften our judgment and choose to simply observe—with curiosity instead of criticism—we create space for deeper understanding, compassion, and growth. And maybe, in that space, we can finally begin to see each other (and ourselves) as we truly are.
