6 years and a couple days ago I competed in my last bodybuilding competition (2019), and 5 years ago today I found out I was pregnant with my son! It's been a whirlwind since then but I'm slowly coming back with steady consistency and healthy decisions. It's not a fast process, and postpartum anxiety and depression about took me out, but I'm stronger today than I was then... Maybe not physically stronger but more capable of overcoming obstacles, adapting, reframing my mindset. One step at a time.

"They're serving us; I serve them back by reducing cost of care through the nonprofit." As the wife of a Paramedic Firefighter, daughter of a Veteran and sister of an Active Duty Servicemember, one of my favorite things is to support our first responders, military, and veterans through nonprofit care. Opening that up to lower income households as well also helps to make what I do in the health field more accessible to everyone- one of my main goals!
