After ten incredible years, we’re celebrating a major milestone—and a bittersweet goodbye (sort of). Our longtime Operations Manager, Chris Torno, has officially stepped down from his leadership role after a decade of service, thousands of shifts, and countless contributions to AccuCare Event Medical.

From long nights and high-pressure calls to big saves and even bigger laughs, Chris has been a steady force behind the scenes and out in the field. His dedication to our mission and to the people we serve has shaped who we are today.

While we’ll deeply miss him in his day-to-day leadership role, we’re grateful that Chris isn’t going far. You’ll still catch him at Energizer Park, continuing to deliver the exceptional care he’s known for—just with a little more time off and a lot less inbox.

Hey — last night was a HOME RUN! ⚾️ Our fearless leader, President and Owner Dana Moulton, swung by the First Aid Room at Busch Stadium with her crew to check in on our rockstar team during the Savannah Bananas game.

Big shout‑out to our crew for keeping fans safe, cool, and smiling all night long (even when the temps were more “hot dog” than “banana split” 🌭🍌❄️). Special birthday cheers to Van, who turned the big 5—hope we made your day as extra‑special as you made ours! 🎉🎂

And guess what? We’ll be hard at it again tonight for another sold‑out Savannah Bananas game at Busch Stadium. Let’s do it all over—pops of courage, popsicles on demand, and pro‑level care under pressure! 🥳👏

Paramedic Captain Jesse N. practicing ultrasound imaging using one of the districts newly purchased GE VSCAN Air ultrasound probes. The probes interface with Bluetooth and provide easy to use testing. The patient, Logan S. is the child of another crew member and was a good actor for this practice!

This technology will be utilized in the prehospital setting for the identification of free fluid around the heart, bladder and in the abdomen. We are also able to utilize this for starting IVs, cardiac imaging, and future OB utilization.

This equipment was purchased with funds from the Project Lifesaver Bond issue. Thank you voters, for making this purchase possible.

Be safe as you celebrate!

🎆 Fireworks are fun—but they’re also dangerous if not handled properly. In 2024 alone, 14,700 people were treated in ERs for fireworks injuries, and 11 lives were lost.

🔥 Most injuries were burns, especially to hands, fingers, head, face, and ears.

Before you celebrate, take a moment to :
⭐ Never allow kids to handle fireworks
⭐ Light one at a time and move back
⭐ Keep water or a hose nearby
⭐ Never use fireworks while impaired
