Native to Eastern and Central Canada and the Northeastern US, balsam fir trees are conifers with dense, flat, dark green needles. These branches are incredibly fragrant and relatively soft. Balsam fir trees grow more than 80 feet high and typically live up to 100 years.

How to use Balsam Fir

Diffuse during gatherings with friends and family.
To create a refreshing, woody room spray, add several drops to a small spray bottle with water and any other desired oils.
Combine a few drops with unscented lotion or body butter and apply as part of an invigorating massage.
Add two to three drops to a warm bath with Epsom salts for a rejuvenating experience at the end of a long day.

Our Guaiacwood essential oil comes from the heartwood of Bulnesia sarmientoi, which grows in the Gran Chacho Forest of Paraguay. Locally, the trees or harvested guaiacwood are known as palo santo. However, palo santo Bursera graveolens is separate and distinct from guaiacwood Bulnesia sarmientoi. Though they have similarities, the two essential oils are distinct, with different chemistries and aromas.

How to use Guaiacwood

Diffuse Guaiacwood to create a grounding atmosphere.
Apply a drop or two to minor skin irritations for a soothing effect.
Use Guaiacwood aromatically in the evening for a tranquil aroma.

Think Pink

Native to South America, the Pink Peppercorn tree has tiny red or pink berries that are distilled into an essential oil. Pink Pepper is calming and has a pleasantly spicy and fruity aroma popular in perfumes.

How to use Pink Pepper

Seal and save that skin (skip the burn), by making your own, non-toxic aftershave oil.

Ingredients:

💧10 drops Frankincense
💧10 drops Lavender
💧10 drops Sandalwood

Instructions:

Combine with your favorite carrier oil for skin (Jojoba or Sweet Almond) in a 1 oz bottle with a dropper top. Put 5-6 drops in hand, rubs hands, and massage into face post-shave.

Perfect for your face, pits, or legs (and anywhere else you are shaving 😉).

Skip the soap and foaming shave cream, try this instead!

Ingredients:
💧 1⁄3 cup shea butter
💧 1⁄3 cup coconut oil
💧 1⁄4 cup fractionated coconut oil
💧 5 drops Sandalwood
💧 3 drops Melaleuca + Peppermint

Instructions:
Place all ingredients except for essential oils in a double boiler. Once melted, remove from heat and let sit for 3 minutes. Add essential oils and stir until combined. Let sit for a few minutes and then use a hand or stand mixer, to whip shaving cream until light and fluffy. Store in a glass jar.

Don’t want the DIY hassle? Try doTERRA’s Conditioner, it doubles beautifully as a shaving cream (your legs and his face have never felt so smooth).

One word: Sandalwood. ♥️

Perfect for your beard (and supporting the skin underneath). Just take 3-5 drops of Sandalwood in your hand, rub your hands together until the oil is nice and warm, and massage into your beard and skin.

Thank me later. So simple, so non-toxic, plus you’ll smell incredible.

Did you know that staying hydrated keeps your skin plump (and reduces the appearance of dimples?). So does coffee, but we’re not drinking it. 😏
Coffee Body Scrub

💧 4 oz of warm coffee grounds (preferably fresh)
💧 2 TBL of Fractionated Coconut Oil
💧 10 drops of Peppermint Oil
💧 10 drops Grapefruit Oil
💧 5 drops Cypress

Mix together in a bowl. Apply liberally on the thighs, belly, derrière, the backs of arms ect. Rub into the skin. Then rinse off in the shower.
