🕊️ Anonymous Story: "The Moment, I Knew It Was Time"

"My dad had always been strong, the kind of man who never asked for help. But after his cancer progressed, the hospital visits became constant. Every week it was something new: more pain, more confusion, more fear.

One night, after another long ER visit, I broke down in the parking lot. I realized I wasn’t helping him by trying to do it all on my own. That’s when someone gently suggested hospice care.

I thought hospice meant giving up, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. It was the first time my dad was truly comfortable. A nurse came to the house. They brought a special bed. A chaplain sat with him and listened. I wasn’t just his caregiver anymore; I got to be his daughter again.

🍍 Colada Me Crazy! 🍹
We brought the tropics to Claremont Assisted Living for National Piña Colada Day, and let’s just say… it was a total vibe! 🌴☀️

Happy Hour was full of laughter, tropical treats, and of course, piña coladas that had everyone smiling from sip to sip. We love creating fun, meaningful moments with the residents we serve. 💛

Huge shoutout to Jennifer Capovilla for bringing the fun, the flavor, and the sunshine! You always know how to make seniors feel special. 💛
