Great story! Love https://m.facebook.com/LiveTheLifestyleWeightManagement
JUST IN! This pretty little thing is Angelica! Yup, she made us cry. This is why we, at LTL, work so hard. We are thrilled that LTL was and continues to be a life changer for her. It is equally as life changing for us; there is no greater reward.
This is her story...
I have struggled with my weight pretty much all of my life, like so many others’ stories I have read. After graduating high school I got a job at a fast food restaurant and I worked there for about a year. During that year I gained about 30 pounds, as I ate their food constantly. I didn’t weigh regularly at that time, but I knew what I weighed wasn’t good.
After stepping on the scale and crying seeing the number there, I decided to join Curves. I actually did really well there for a few months and managed to lose a pretty decent amount of weight. However, I just went back to eating what I wanted and eventually quit working out there.
Since then, I have stuggled even more with my weight. I would get to the point I couldn’t stand how I looked anymore and would go on a “diet” and start exercising and would lose a few pounds here and there and then I would get tired of it and go back to being lazy and gaining weight.
About a year ago, I contacted my coach and asked for information about after seeing her success on the program. At that time, I decided I wasn’t ready. And an extremely short time later I found out I was pregnant.
During my pregnancy, I gained what I considered a reasonable amount at about 20 pounds. I had Gestational and that kept me from eating a lot of the foods I enjoyed.
After giving birth to my daughter in March, I went through a period of that caused me to have very little appetite. When I went to my 2 week postpartum check up my doctor gave me some medicine and when I got my appetite back I ate everything in sight.
Finally back in June I contacted my LTL coach again. I had decided enough was enough. I can honestly say, I have loved every single step of my journey since then.
In my first 12 weeks I have lost 25.6 pounds, 36.5 inches, 11% body fat and I have increased my hydration by 4.4%. What I have gained in a I have never had before. I can look in the mirror now and the first word I think is not “fat”. My first thought is “healthy” and that’s something I’ve never seen myself as. I can’t thank LTL and my coach enough!
