We focus on education as a key component of treatment so as to empower you to take charge and ownership of your health and wellness. Balanced Body Rehab was created in 2008 by Josh Borgmeyer, DPT, MTC. Josh worked for several years in a chronic pain center and became frustrated that many patients would get better under his care but would routinely cycle back into the clinic needing treatment again

for the same condition. Insurance companies wouldn't pay for maintenance physical therapy. Self-pay for services in a conventional clinic were far too expensive for most people. Fitness professionals were eager to take his rehabilitated patient but often lacked the know-how to build up a complicated patient without causing harm. Josh responded to his quandary by partnering with a private personal training studio in Kirkwood called Fitness Cove. The personal trainers at Fitness Cove were receptive to his vision and were an integral part of the shaping of Balanced Body Rehab to achieve the quality service it stands for today. Balanced Body Rehab has created a no-hassle access to physical therapy services that is unlike any other in the St. Balanced Body Rehab's vision is to offer services much like a dental office where patients periodically come in for routine check-ups to avoid a recurrence of a condition or just get an updated program to advance their abilities. Patients are given the tools to fix themselves and have a lifetime relationship with "their" physical therapist if they ever need anything. Balanced Body Rehab works closely with personal trainers to coordinate programs that allow patients to take their fitness to the next level without risk of injury. Balanced Body Rehab strives to help people of all ages and abilities, move and feel better, for long-term quality of life.

✔️ 10-minute stretch routine when you wake up
✔️ Daily posture check-ins (shoulders down, core engaged)
✔️ Practice sit-to-stand 10x from a sturdy chair
✔️ Use resistance bands for a quick strength circuit
✔️ Do heel/toe raises during dishwashing or brushing teeth
