I even used some of the strategies I learned to make dinner last night in under 20 minutes.

Let's just say it was a real success...

🙌 Super cheap...under $15 for all 4 of us to eat & we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow
🙌 Healthy...used real foods that kept us full and fueled our bodies

Chocoholic!

There are so many reasons we crave chocolate...but do you know what to do when they hit...or better yet, how you stop the cravings in the first place?

Hi my name is Sarah, and I'm a recovering Chocoholic, and while I still love chocolate, I can now also say no to it.

Chocolate cravings are interesting because so many different things can cause them, and ****depending on the root cause of why you're craving the chocolate will change how you rewrite Your Craving Story.

Of course, that's what makes it so hard to control them.

Y’all staying hydrated is so crucial ⚡️for your body to function correctly.

💡Did you know that a women’s body is 55%water?

I know how yummy sugar filled, caffeinated beverages ☕️🥤🧋can make us feel at the time…but where does that leave you a few hours later 🤷‍♀️?

…yep wanting more & more until it’s a vicious cycle🔄 .

Yep that used to me…I couldn’t get out of bed until I had a cup of coffee. I wouldn’t feel awake until we’ll into the morning. I felt like a zombie 🧟‍♀️ and no body dared to talk to me before I had my coffee.

Making the switch to water can me hard but there are some small steps 👣 we can take.

Kids heading back to school & your routines getting turned upside down🙃?

Between all the sports practices and games, gymnastic practices and meets, then throw in scout meetings, parent meetings, voluntold requirements, and of course everyone’s favorite…fundraisers!

Ya’ll, our calendar 📅 is booked full this fall 🍂 (like seriously, all the way until Christmas🎄).

At first glance, just looking at it gives me a bit of anxiety…

You know that knot in your stomach that makes it hard to breathe, and your heart rate speed up.

The feeling of losing control…like you’re on a busy 8-lane highway going 90 miles an hour 🚗 with no steering wheel and only a gas pedal…you know you can’t stop or you’ll be run over.

That’s your body telling you to whoa up…you’re about to max out…but what do you do 🤷‍♀️?

Yep, that was me last week…but knowing how to cope with these situations is a game-changer!

Seriously, before that feeling begins to build and build and you feel so overwhelmed you just want to curl up in a ball in your closet and hide….do these things 👇

Create some space in your day…even just a few minutes

⭐ Take a deep breaths

⭐ Go for a short walk outside

⭐ Listen to some calming music

⭐ Read a book

⭐ Anything that brings calm to your day

When your routine gets knocked to the ground🥊…it can be hard to stay consistent!

This morning a certain kiddo had practice 6:30-8:00 & then I had to drop him off & scramble to my 9:30 meeting. In between playing taxi 🚕 driver I apparently forgot to comb my hair & put on makeup (sorry guys). I didn’t even realize it until this afternoon 🤦‍♀️. Luckily I did brush my teeth & put on deodorant.

Here’s the thing…👉 when we have a consistent routine it’s easier to create a habit. However…when your schedule constantly changes (which if your is anything like mine, it’ll change in a flash ⚡️) that doesn’t mean you can’t still be consistent…

📌 Consistency is how you define it…it’s your routine & not a cookie cutter routine.

Y’all I have no idea what possessed me this morning but I reached in towards the back of my closet & pulled out a pair of REAL jeans 👖(not jeggings)…real ones with a button & zipper…I never imagined they’d fit & actually feel comfy 😜 (especially having just gotten back from vacay a week ago).

Here’s the thing to note…my weight really hasn’t decreased but my weight is shifting as I’m gaining muscles 💪…plus these muscles aren’t just for show they make it easier to open 🚪!

It doesn’t have to be so dang hard…I’ll show you how...just shoot me a message.

Getting my workout done first thing this morning…lifting heavy!

As I reflect back on this past week, I have really focused on lifting heavier weights and what I’ve come to realize is I am stronger than I even thought possible.

👉 It's about progress...not perfection

👉 Do your best & forget the rest...trying to be 100% ALL.THE. TIME doesn't allow you to enjoy your life
