Hand Grip Strength. I am getting a lot of questions about this lately. Here's the deal. Hand grip strength is NOT just about having strong hands; it's a REFLECTION of overall health and physical function, and it plays a vital role in our ability to perform daily tasks, prevent injuries, and maintain a good quality of life throughout our lifespan.
NO, you do not need to train your hands to be stronger with a "squeeze tool, or hang from a pull up bar."
You need to strength train your WHOLE body AND be active to maintain necessary skeletal muscle. Muscle helps fight metabolic disease, maintain hormones and mental clarity by regulating glucose.
