I help busy moms lose weight and stay fit without the hassle of constant dieting. As a busy mom do you ever feel that there are so many important things to take care of on a regular basis that sometimes you forget to take care of yourself, your own health and well being? Well, in addition to being a busy mom of six boys (!!) I am a certified holistic health coach. :) I help busy moms implement small changes in their life to help deal with stress, staying on top of a busy schedule, and health concerns so they can lead the healthiest and happiest life possible! Through an interactive coaching process, I help my clients determine what is important to them and what their health and wellness goals are. Then we look at what obstacles are preventing them from reaching their goals. Together, we come up with small steps that build upon each other to help them make permanent changes to reach their goals. I guide offer resources and hold my clients accountable so that they not only look but feel and be the best person they can be!

Quick. Easy. Delicious Lunch.

MEDITERRANEAN SALAD (Makes 1 serving)
2 cups mesclun lettuce
1 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped
1 carrot, shredded
1 large apple, chopped
1/4 cup shredded beets
10 fresh mint leaves, roughly torn to small pieces
1 avocado, chopped
Kalamata olives, chopped (optional)

DRESSING
2 large garlic cloves, minced
1 large lemon, juiced
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Preparing the dressing first allows the flavors to intermingle before using it on your salad. Add all the ingredients to a jar with a lid. Shake vigorously. Taste, and adjust seasonings to your preference. Allow the dressing to sit for at least 15 minutes before dressing your salad.

Did you know about OIL PULLING: Oil pulling has been a common detoxification practice for centuries. You can use coconut oil or sesame oil.
• Put 1-2 tablespoons of oil in your mouth
• Swish the oil for 5-20 minutes
• Spit the oil in the trash can (to avoid it hardening and clogging up
your sink)
• Rinse your mouth with water and sea salt
• Brush your teeth
Oil pulling should be done on an empty stomach to ensure maximum benefits.
