🌿 Meet Our Speech-Language Pathologist: Katey Kroeger, MS, CF-SLP! 🌿

Katey Kroeger is a speech-language pathologist who enjoys supporting individuals across the lifespan, from early development through adulthood and aging. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Gerontology, and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. For the past two years Katey
worked as a speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA), applying her skills in both educational and private care settings.

Her passion for speech-language pathology grew from personal experiences, watching her child benefit from early speech therapy services, and seeing firsthand the critical role SLPs played in her grandmother's stroke recovery, addressing challenges such as aphasia, dysphagia, and dementia. These experiences fuel Katey’s commitment to
person-centered care that honors each patient’s story and unique needs.

At Abundant Acres, Katey provides evaluation and therapy services targeting communication, cognition, swallowing, and neurodegenerative
conditions, helping residents maintain meaningful interactions and quality of life. She believes strongly in collaborative care,
functional treatment, and preserving dignity throughout every stage of care.
