One clinic assumed its provider was supplying a healthcare-grade disinfectant. The contract didn't specify it. When a safety inspection flagged the discrepancy, the facility — not the vendor — absorbed the costs of retraining staff, retreating surfaces, and meeting the corrective action requirements.

The contract didn't spell it out. That was the problem.

Happy April Fools' Day. We wish this was the joke.

At home or work, your kitchen counter has more bacteria on it right now than your toilet seat. According to NSF International, a WHO-recognized food safety authority, nearly 1 in 3 kitchen countertops test positive for harmful bacteria, including E. coli and Salmonella. The toilet didn't even make the top of the list.

Turns out the germiest room in your life is the one where you prepare your food.

"Do no harm."

It's a simple phrase, but Michael Fitts, 4M Chief Commercial Officer, says it's the best mindset to bring into an acquisition and it's worth writing down.

Go in, find out where the organization is thriving. Build on those strengths. Then ask where they've struggled and where you can come in and truly serve them.

The best transactions aren't about coming in to fix something. They're about coming together to make something better.

We like it, we love it, we did it again!

Opening Day tailgate. Busch Stadium. St. Louis.

Yesterday, we wrapped 4M Building Solutions' annual Opening Day tailgate for the Cards' home opener. Food, beverages, baseball, and a whole lot of fun shared with Team Members, facility partners, current customers, and customers-to-be.

A huge thank you to our partners for this project over, at least, the past ten years: Painting Solutions, Lakenan Insurance, Roofers Mart, and Kaiser Electric. And a well-deserved shoutout to the live band that kept the energy going all day, The Well Hungarians.

See you next year. And whatever team you happen to be cheering for around the country, here's to a great season ahead!

As part of our annual awards recognizing outstanding achievements across 4M Building Solutions, we are proud to introduce our 2025 Team Member of the Year, Beverly Grayson!

From the Indianapolis area, Beverly has been a cornerstone of our team, serving a global healthcare customer for 19 years. She arrives every day with a smile, a perfect attendance record, and a readiness to get to work from the moment she walks in the door.

Over nearly two decades, she has stepped up through floods, last-minute challenges, and everything in between, always with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

She welcomes every new team member with warmth and generously shares her knowledge to help the whole team grow. Beverly is the definition of honesty, integrity, and loyalty, with a genuine commitment to taking care of our customers and each other.
