🐶✨ Meet Remi, the brave American Bulldog who recently underwent surgery to correct her stenotic nares—a condition that causes abnormally narrow nostrils and makes it difficult to breathe.

This issue is part of what's known as brachycephalic syndrome, which affects flat-faced breeds like bulldogs, pugs, and frenchies. Dogs with this condition often struggle with noisy breathing, snoring, and even overheating due to restricted airflow.

🩺 Dr. Belter performed Remi’s surgery, and we’re happy to report she’s recovering beautifully! With her newly opened airways, she’s already breathing easier and looking forward to a much more comfortable life. 💕

🎆 Last Call Before the Fireworks! 🎇

Pet parents, the Fourth of July is almost here—which means it’s time to double-check your pet’s calming meds!

👉 If your pet uses Trazodone or any other anxiety medication, now’s the time to call us for a refill so you’re not caught without it on the big night. Fireworks can be scary for even the bravest pets, and a little preparation goes a long way!

Here are a few quick safety tips to help your furry friends stay calm and secure:
🐾 Keep pets indoors during fireworks—even if they’re usually fine outside.
🎧 Play calming music or white noise to help block out the booms.
🏠 Create a cozy "safe zone" with blankets, favorite toys, and low lights.
💡 Make sure their ID tags and microchip info are up-to-date in case of any escapes.
🦴 Offer long-lasting chews or frozen treats to keep them occupied and distracted.
