One of our favorite events of the year is just around the corner. Join us on Thursday, June 26 at Optometry's Meeting for our InfantSEE Workshops. We'll show you just how easy it is to give an infant an eye exam and show you why that first exam is so important for a lifetime of healthy vision.

I love my job! Especially on days I get to provide InfantSEE® exams for babies between 6-12 months for free! The cherry on top is when I get to hold and love on them while they're in the office. Approximately 80% of learning, particularly in the early years of development, occurs through vision. Schedule your infant's first eye exam today.

A no-cost eye assessment is important for your infant because undetected and untreated eye and vision disorders, such as amblyopia and strabismus, too often become barriers to learning, leading to delayed reading and poorer outcomes in school.

In-person comprehensive eye exams provided by a doctor of optometry are essential and thoroughly effective at identifying and ensuring early treatment for the range of vision and eye health issues that can impact a child's development and learning abilities.

Thank you to Johnson & Johnson - Vision for supporting the InfantSEE program since its inception 20 years ago!

As InfantSEE® heads into its 20th anniversary in 2025, we are incredibly proud to have been part of this journey alongside Optometry Cares® - The American Optometric Association (AOA) Foundation. Thank you to all the InfantSEE® providers who have completed 170,000+ assessments since its inception in 2005!

We are committed to teaching future eye care professionals about pediatric eye care and supporting this public health program, which helps set children up for success by detecting vision impairments early.

Just as cooing, sitting up, and crawling are crucial signs of growth, it’s important to remember that a baby's vision develops in stages too. That’s why InfantSEE® continues to provide essential, no-cost, comprehensive eye and vision health assessments for babies.

Join us to elevate pediatric eye care and to continue to make vision possible for infants for another 20 years, and beyond.

Happy Anniversary, InfantSEE®.

According to the American Optometric Association, babies should have their first eye exam around six months of age. By this age, babies should be able to focus, see color and have depth perception. Optometrists will make sure their eyes are developing normally, checking for signs of near or farsightedness, lazy eye, crossed eyes or severe cases such as cancer.

Schedule your infant's free eye assessment today at infantsee.org.
