Clients always ask what really happens to their Goodwill clothing donations...
Donations are sorted for sale in the Goodwill Store. What doesn't sell in 4 weeks is sold by the pound at the Goodwill Outlet.
What doesn't sell at the outlet is sold in lots at the Goodwill Auction. Any leftovers then go to textile recycling organizations.

They're probably not going where you think.
