🙌BIG ANNOUNCEMENT🙌🧑‍🌾🧑‍🌾🧑‍🌾

After a lot of thought, l've made the exciting decision to step into the role of running and managing the Stafford Farmers Market next year! When I was first asked, I honestly couldn't believe it, it felt like such a huge honor. At the same time, living with a serious medical condition made me hesitant to take on such a big responsibility, and I actually turned it down a couple of times.

But after some heartfelt conversations with one of my favorite vendors, Roots On Russell, everything shifted. Together, we decided to team up-and now Kathryn, Timmy, and I will be working side by side to bring this market to life!

We're already full of ideas to make the market even more special, and I am beyond grateful for the chance to create something wonderful for our community. I can't wait to see what's ahead and to share this journey with all of you!

🎉 Big market announcement 🎉

Managing the market this season has been a wonderful experience and since October, I’ve poured myself into making it the best that I can. I worked hard to certify the market for SNAP; apply for and be awarded the SNAP equipment grant as well as the farmers market grant from Farm Credit East; create the Welcome Booth where we can sell products from local farms and process SNAP and FMNP doubling; build an entirely new website; and welcome many AMAZING new vendors. I am so thankful that I was able to contribute to the market and community in a meaningful way.

I’ve recently acquired 3 acres of farmland, which is honestly a dream come true. Because I want to focus my time and energy on building my farm and farm store, I’ve decided to step down as manager. But, I am thrilled to announce that Felicia Fowler from Naturally Holistic and Kathryn Bombard and Timmy Schoenborn from Roots on Russell will co-manage the market after this season!

Felicia lives in Stafford and is so committed to the community. Kathryn and Timmy are our full-time produce vendors and in so many ways are the heart of the market. They already have so many possibilities and ideas lined up and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things they do. Of course I’ll always be here if they ever need any support but I know they are going to do a fantastic job 💕

Unfortunately, Farm Day - Stafford CT is canceled tomorrow 😢⛈️⛈️⛈️

Important Update: Farm Day – Day 2 Cancelled

Due to the heavy rain and thunderstorms yesterday, the fields are too wet and unsafe to continue with Farm Day, Day 2 (Sunday, September 7, 2025). For the safety of our vendors, exhibitors, and guests, we must cancel today’s event.

We are truly grateful to all of our amazing vendors, exhibitors, and community partners — whether you were selling local goods, sharing handmade items, running activities, presenting animals, or representing organizations, you helped make Farm Day 2025 a success!

Thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday; we had a fantastic turnout and raised funds for Stafford’s Agricultural Scholarship Fund, supporting students pursuing agricultural careers.

A beautiful soul came by last night to pick up these baskets! 🧺🥰

These baskets were specially made for two mamas who just gave birth. Lavender products were included and a new tea that I’ve been working extra hard on that has been getting nothing but great feedback 🥰🤰🌿
