Did you know that the body starts creating colostrum* between 12-18 weeks of pregnancy and serves as your baby’s first food for around 3-4 days? Leaking in pregnancy can be alarming for some who have never experienced it but can be extremely normal!

Colostrum: Colostrum is the first form of breastmilk that is released by the mammary glands after giving birth. It's nutrient-dense and high in custom antibodies and antioxidants to build a newborns immune system and seal the gut. It transitions into breast milk within two to four days after your baby is born. Colostrum is thicker and more yellow than traditional breast milk, almost like honey! Talk about some liquid gold!
