Yesterday was truly a success! 💚

I had the honor of being a vendor at the Mental Health, Wellness, and Safety Resource Fair at James Monroe High School, and it was an incredible experience. I met so many amazing people, each with their own stories, strength, and passion for making a difference.

It’s always powerful to connect with others in the community coming together, supporting one another, and continuing the conversation around mental health. Being able to share my story, spread awareness, and also listen and learn from others is something I never take for granted.

Moments like today remind me why this work matters so much to me. We are building connections, creating safe spaces, and making an impact one conversation at a time.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared, supported, and showed love. 💚

💚 Celebration of Life Zumba Party Recap
Our Celebration of Life Zumba Party was truly a day to remember 💚
Surrounded by love, energy, and community, we came together to honor a life that continues to inspire purpose and impact. From the moment the music started, the atmosphere was filled with joy, movement, and connection. A time was definitely had—there was laughter, dancing, socializing, and genuine moments of togetherness that reminded us all of the power of community.

The weather could not have been more perfect, creating a beautiful backdrop for a day filled with healing, happiness, and heartfelt memories. Whether you came to dance, support, or simply be present, every person contributed to making the day special.

This event was more than just a gathering it was a reminder that even in the midst of loss, we can find ways to celebrate life, uplift one another, and continue spreading love and awareness.

In honor of JuJu, we continue to turn pain into purpose creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected.
Thank you to everyone who came out, participated, and helped make this event unforgettable. Your presence meant more than words can express.

**April 13…Today last year The Day My Son Gained His Wings 💔💚** This has been a journey I never imagined having to relive… but I promised myself I would share because this is my truth, and this is part of my healing. and the purpose behind The Forsythe Foundation-Reboot with JuJu-Mental Health & Su***de Support

it wasn’t just one day it was four.

**April 11** – the day my son made his 4th attempt. A day filled with fear, confusion, and prayers that didn’t stop.
**April 12** – the day my family and I made it to the hospital. Holding on to hope… standing together… praying for a miracle **Today April 13** – the day my son succumbed to his injuries. The day my heart broke in a way that words will never fully explain. And tomorrow…
**April 14** – the day he became a hero. An organ donor. A life lost… but lives saved. 💚

My son, Jawuan… my JuJu… your story didn’t end here. Your legacy lives on in every life you touched both seen and unseen.

I miss you more than words can hold. But I will continue to walk in purpose… to speak your name… to bring awareness… and to help others who are silently hurting. Because of you… I will never stop.
