Huge thanks to everyone who came out this weekend! We’re still feeling so much shock, gratitude, and overwhelm from the incredible community support for the small businesses here. Endless love to our vendors and to every single person who showed up to support these humans pouring their hearts into making our community better. Over 500 people came through our little space - and it felt FULL in the best possible way. Together we raised $502 for . Thank you for helping us create something truly special. xx Anja & Kate

One Market, Two Ways. Come by Saturday night - It’s nearing sunset when you arrive at Foxtrot. The gate creaks open and you’re met with twinkling lights, a glowing bonfire encircled by smiling faces holding cups of golden milk, cider and hot soup. You head inside to collect some handsome additions for the table; hand-dipped beeswax candles to accent a dried floral wreath for your centerpiece, a beautiful jar of honey to accompany a grass-fed charcuterie board, locally-grown heirloom beans, and a selection of fresh mushrooms and vegetables. Have a glass of wine and share time. You’ll find everything you need for the perfect tablescape in this lovely evening. Saturday, November 22nd from 3 PM to 7 PM.

SAVE THE DATE // Farm & Friends Market is a collaborative, warm, small-scale holiday gathering that blends the charm of a winter market with the connection and quality of a local food & makers fair. We will be highlighting quality, local (primarily land & food based) products that feel special and useful - whether for a holiday table, a host gift, or a special something to stock in the pantry. Think: Fresh produce, pantry goods, and meal add-ons; Handmade gifts, crafts, and home goods; Cozy vibes: twinkle lights, good smells, warm bevs, friendly faces. Our goal is to create a community-centered feel - not rushed or overly commercial, but festive, simple, and meaningful. We hope to see you there!

This powerful sunny summer bloom has bright yellow star-shaped flowers, which is what herbalists use to lift spirits and support nervous system health.* When fresh, the flowers can be pressed and ooze a bright red substance–an indicator of when its herbal medicine is at its peak. Commonly used topically for irritated skin and preserved in tinctures, which yields a potent ruby-red extract.

Harvested around mid-summer, our fresh tincture has just been pressed and is the key ingredient in our Sunshine Elixir, which has just been restocked. Bright and citrus-like this blend is formulated to uplift the spirit, balance your mood and soothe seasonal woes.

Very excited to announce I will be leading a distillation workshop at on 6/29! This workshop will focus on the techniques and best practices for creating potent hydrosols, or floral waters. Together we will harvest fresh aromatic plants and go through the process of distillation using both a traditional copper still and with a simple at-home method. We will talk about the unique benefits of hydrosols for use in skincare - as well as touch on their aromatherapy and culinary applications. There will be the opportunity to sample a variety of hydrosols. Each participant will take home a 2 oz bottle of hydrosol and a farm-grown floral bouquet from Foxtrot.

I hope to share my love of this process with you then!

Nettle medicine & nettle confections from over the years.

An earthy springtime green and potent source of vitamins and minerals, like A, C, E, iron, and calcium. Traditionally, this nutrient-dense herb is collected when young, and the leaves are prepared in seasonal foods–like pesto and creamy soups–and preserved in teas, tinctures, and vinegars. We use this tonic to strengthen our bodies during the shifting seasons and to support sinus and respiratory system health.*

We harvest nettle from stands we tend to year over year in the Hudson Valley and supplement with organically grown nettle from our friends at in Calais, Vermont.

You can find it in our: Vernal Vinegar & Maiden, Mother, Crone Iron Tonic

Are you harvesting nettles this season?

April waiting. GG just dropped these gems from our Jurassic era together, long forgotten moments boomeranging back to remind me of things imminent. I can feel the weight of that red clover satchel in my hands, the sweat of midday on my back in the strawberry patch, & slick mulberries underfoot. Soon!

Mushroom maple syrup & woodland cocoa are my favorite suggested gifting duo. Together, they sing each other’s praises. Individually, they carry their own, lend versatility across culinary musings, and impart a little joy and 🍄 magic to the season.
