Hi! Have we met??

I'm Ashley — boy mom, cat mom, medical lab scientist, and the gal behind Olive + Pine.

My love for candle making began as a hobby in the summer of 2015. When I wasn't working my day job, I was making candles out of recycled wine bottles — cutting and sanding each by hand. A couple of years later, I found myself fulfilling candle orders for weddings and bridal showers. Then, in 2020, everything came full circle when I decided to take my passion project a couple of steps further.

And now, knowing that our candles are finding a permanent spot in your personal space? That's one of the brightest parts about this whole thing.

I'm so grateful for all of you who are part of the O+P community. ❤️

Come on, Barbie! 🩷 The Barbie movie release brought a wave of 90's memories my way – which started when I rocked kindergarten in 1990 ('89 to be exact) 😉
