Everyday, I see post shared by a parent of a child on the Autism Spectrum, stating “I know nobody cares but…” Then they proceed to share progress their child has made. I’m not sure what has made them feel like no one cares, but one thing I can say for sure is, I care! No matter the age, that first word, the first time they use the toilet, or say mom for the first time these are big moments worth celebrating! A trip to the store without a melt down, a successful doctor visit, trying a new food, these are also worth celebrating! I’m sorry that someone has made you feel like your child’s achievements are less than others, but they’re not. If anything they’re bigger! I see you and I have been you, and still am! I know how much love, patience, and consistency has gone into your child reaching that goal. It’s not always easy but it’s so worth it! So celebrate them and celebrate you! You both deserve it! We're expanding our services and bringing on new learners! We are hiring experienced RBTs for multiple areas within a 50 mile radius of Statesville, to provide in home, school, and community based ABA therapy.
