“ Santa baby is coming to hillside very soon”

Please if you have adopted a resident for the Christmas holiday we are asking to have gifts in no later then Monday evening if possible, this will allow us to ensure that everyone has a gift to open Christmas morning.

This is the second year we have had the community help us and we cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for each and every person who has helped us. If anyone can’t drop off there gift please get with myself Lindsay lowe or Taylor Shover to arrange a meet up.

Merry Christmas everyone, hillside is blessed for another great year of cheer!

🎄Christmas Angel Tree 🎄

We have 53 residents here at hillside in need of Christmas gifts, we have filled out Christmas list for each resident. We had great success last year with the community helping us making these residents feel special on Christmas Day!

Many have no families and are in need of clothes , shoes , winter jackets and basic necessities. Most are on a fixed income and unfortunately don’t have enough Monday to get the basic things they need.

Please reach out to us via the hillside page , message Lindsay Lowe or Taylor Shover if you would like to adopt one of our residents for the Christmas holiday! 🎄

Hello everyone we are excited to announce we have 4 new RMAs at Hillside Residential Living! These girls have worked very hard to get here! So we would like to introduce them to everyone!
1. Bailee Fitzgerald Bailee recently finished high school this pass May, since then she has became a DCA and now is a RMA.
2. Lillian Feathers Lilly also recently finished high school in May and since then she has became a DCA and now an RMA!
3. Lakesha Jarvis has been in the healthcare for 15-20 years as a CNA. Lakesha has worked in nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. She has taking on a bigger leap after all these years to take on being a RMA!
4. Maranda N Richard Jones Maranda joined us from Tennessee as a CNA she has worked in nursing homes and ALF and now she has taking on RMA! (We do not have a picture yet but will post as soon as we get one)

Congratulations to all of you ladies! Keep reaching for the stars!

Happy Assistant Living appreciation week to the very best team there is!

Day 1 : the stuff received gift baskets for there hard work, we wanted to show them just how much they mean to us!

The residents received a “Candy Land” themed party to kick off the start of the week, followed by candy land themed word search.

Day 2 : stuff and residents received a coffee and donut party for a sweet treat for snack time today followed by an activity that had everyone laughing so hard.

Let’s see what tomorrow’s activities bring!

✨ BACK TO SCHOOL ✏️🚌 ✨

This is right around the corner and we know this can be a stressful time financially for some, let us help take this burden off your hands and provide you with some help.

We are looking for 4-5 kids whose family are financially struggling and need assistance with providing school supplies for the year.

As being a single mom many years ago I know how stressful it can be, please let us help you and don’t be too embarrassed to ask for help when needed. Inbox us the age of the kids ( theme or things they are interested in as far as designs ) , and the school list provided and we will shop for them!

Well Hillside Residential Living had a little surprise today! I am on vacation and I was told it is really hot back home so I called in for a little treat for my residents! Thank you Sweet Streets! The residents and staff loved their ice cream!

Hillside’s administration department was invited to attend the A.F. Wendling’s food show and conference in beautiful West Va this morning, we had the best time trying new items and dishes that we can order and bring back to share with our residents!

This was only about half of the pictures of the amazing dishes we tried, and let me tell you everything we ate was delicious we left the show so full! 🌮🍕🍗🥓🧆
