I am honored to be able to give back to a wonderful non profit, and to specifically have these funds provide 100 comfort kits for families/friends who have lost their loved one to su***de 💙

I am sharing this not for recognition, but to encourage those who see this post to check out TEARS of North Dakota website, learn their mission, and to consider donating to this powerful non profit!

We are overjoyed with the generosity from New Directions Therapy-Lexi Walker, LPCC to support TEARS with a donation of 100 Comfort Kits!

Comfort Kits are a small token of support for those on a grief journey after losing a loved one to su***de. Each item is thoughtfully selected to help remember loved ones and provide some comfort in the darkest moments.

THIS Wednesday!! I am so looking forward to hearing Kevin share his story. Su***de is an uncomfortable, emotional topic but we must talk about it to spread awareness and educate one another. Talking about su***de can help decrease the stigma around mental health and maybe even save one life. Thank you for putting on this event!

A great opportunity for adults in our community!

May is and is here to support you in moving forward with your life authentically by providing trustworthy, effective mental health therapy.

We provide in-person and telehealth services for individual, couples, and families, and now groups. Our adult social skills therapy group will provide a supportive and nonjudgemental environment for you to learn and practice essential social skills. This therapy group will begin June 3 and run through July 22, 2024. It is a chance to develop your skills to participate in social situations, and build self-confidence alongside peers who share similar challenges and goals.

Space is limited for our 8 week group. Sessions will be held weekly in Mondays from 5p-6p at A Johnston Therapy, located inside the US Bank building at 600 Demers Avenue, Suite 303, Grand Forks, ND, 58201. Registration deadline is May 29, 2024. Call 701-757-0292 for more information.
