☹️Looking for her furever☹️

💙Our sweet girl Diamond has been on the search for her furever home (for the second time) since July 2025. In 2023, Diamond spent 185 days in our care. After 1.5 years in an adoptive home, her family fell on hard times and unfortunately had to surrender her back to us.

🐾Diamond is very laid back and is happiest just hanging out with her humans. She is a strong girl, but is starting to slow down as she gets older.

🏠Diamond really deserves a home for the holidays. She is starting to get restless in her kennel and isn't enjoying walks as much as she used to. She has been to countless adoption events, and watches other dogs find their families while she gets passed up.

Autumn brings beautiful colors, crisp air… and a few extra hazards on the road. As the leaves fall and the days get shorter, it’s important to stay alert behind the wheel.

Here are a few fall driving safety tips:
🍁 Watch for wet leaves – They can be as slippery as ice.
🌫️ Be mindful of fog and early sunsets – Use headlights wisely.
🦌 Stay alert for wildlife – Especially deer during dusk and dawn.
🌡️ Cooler temps mean frost – Take it slow on bridges and shaded roads.

🚉✨ From Forgotten to Fantastic! ✨🚉

This week, our residents took a trip to the newly renovated Michigan Central Station — and what a transformation it is! What was once an abandoned landmark is now a beautifully restored piece of Detroit’s history, full of life, detail, and purpose once again. 🏛️🌆

Our residents loved exploring the space and seeing all the incredible upgrades. It was a walk down memory lane for some, and an inspiring look at revitalization for all. 💬❤️

We’re so grateful for opportunities like this to connect with the past and celebrate the future — together.

🎃🍂 A Perfect Fall Day Out! 🍽️🚶‍♀️

Our residents had a wonderful afternoon full of fun, food, and friendship yesterday! We started our day with a delicious lunch at Four Corners' Diner — good food and even better company! 🥪☕

Then we took a scenic stroll through the famously festive Halloween on Halloween on Tillson St. in Romeo! The decorations were spook-tacular and put everyone in the Halloween spirit. 🎃👻🧙‍♀️

To wrap up our outing, we made a heartfelt stop to visit one of our beloved residents currently in rehab at Orchard Grove Rehab. It was a touching moment filled with smiles and support. 💛

We’re so grateful for days like this — making memories, staying connected, and enjoying the beauty of the season together. 🍁
