World Music Therapy Week 🎶💙

In celebration of World Music Therapy Week, we wanted to highlight how music therapy is a great add-on to enhance other therapies! Often music therapists work with teams of other professionals to improve client care. For example, rhythmic stimulation used in music therapy is a great tool for achieving physical therapy goals, like motor function or gait training. This holistic approach can accelerate rehabilitation and improve the effectiveness of other therapies!

Neurologic Music Therapy is a research-based system that uses musical elements to treat the brain. NMTs are trained in the neuroscience of music and use evidence-based techniques to cause changes in neuropathways, or connections in the brain.
