A gift basket for 10-year-old Dominique!! 💝💖💞�

Here are some ways we customized her gift to deliver as much joy as we could while she fights cancer! ��Dominique loves…��

Science and physics 🪐 🔭 — so we got her a star projector. It can light up her room in a way any young astrophysicist would love. Plus it creates a calming ambiance that can help with nervous system regulation.

Wicked 🎀💚 — so we put in a Wicked coloring book and some pencil crayons! Coloring can be a very mindful activity, which helps us be more present and worry about the past and future less.

Her big brother! 👦🏼 — we doubled up on lots of items because her big brother without a doubt deserves some gifts, too. We got them portable games from the dollar store (Clue and Monopoly), matching socks, flower seeds for a planting activity, book marks, and lip balms.

At just 10 months old, Izzy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has spent over two years in treatment, with countless hospital stays, tough days, and moments no child should have to endure. But through it all, Izzy has kept smiling. 💛

Now, as she nears the end of treatment, her dad dreams of taking her and her sisters to Disneyland Paris to celebrate their strength, resilience, and love! 🏰

🪑 In 2024, we delivered this “Kindness Corner” to a local youth class, complete with a card table and bright, colorful chairs. Each one carried an affirmation because these kids are so loved, brave, and worthy. ❤️

🌟 Our goal is to help build critical skills like self-regulation and self-esteem in children and teens facing challenges. Our partner teacher, Heather, is already booked for a full yoga day with a local Ontario school to help do that!
