Happy National Golden Retriever Day! 💛
Today we're celebrating one very special golden who means so much to our surgical team - Winston!
Winston isn't just our beloved clinic dog and full time morale booster. He's also a quiet hero behind the scenes. As our in-house blood donor, Winston helps make lifesaving surgeries and emergency care possible for pets who need a little extra support. He's healthy, carefully monitored, and always put first and yes, he's rewarded with plenty of love and treats for his important work.
With his calm nature, gentle heart, and classic Golden Retriever kindness, Winston truly represents the best of the breed. We're incredibly grateful for him today and every day.

✨ Meet Jenn — our amazing Radiology Technician and one of the heartbeat heroes of our clinic! Not only is she an expert in all things radiology, but she also assists Dr. Dugat in surgery and somehow keeps everything running smoothly.

Her caring nature shows in everything she does — whether she’s comforting a patient, lending a hand to a coworker, or making sure no one goes hungry. (She even started our famous Thursday “Dip Day,” debuting a new dip each week! 🥣💛)

Jenn’s basically the mom of the clinic, and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without her! 💕

Co-owner, eye specialist, and multi-tasking superstar 👀. Keeps the business running and still finds time to nurse patients!

One of our five Registered Veterinary Technicians, Carey is also our co-owner. While Dr. Dugat is busy in surgery, Carey keeps the business running smoothly.

Every now and then, she gets to come to the back and work as a nurse—a role that’s still her true passion. And because eyes are her specialty, whenever a patient has an eye condition, Carey is right there to assist!

Carey wears many hats, and we are so lucky to have her on our team!

Anesthesia guru with 20+ years of experience 🩺. Calm under pressure and also a skilled massage therapist—humans included!

One of our five Registered Veterinary Technicians, Delicia is our most knowledgeable anesthesia technician. With over 20 years of experience as an RVT—most of it focused on anesthesia—she brings unmatched skill and a calming presence to even the craziest days.

When she’s not at VSCS, Delicia runs her own massage business, providing the same level of care and expertise to humans in need!

Delicia is a critical part of our team, and we don’t know what we’d do without her!
