Bet on Yourself 2026 Healthy Habits Challenge
4 weeks
January 5 - February 1

Do you have big health goals in 2026 that require new habits or a change in current habits? If so, you might find motivation and determination to work on building those healthy habits with this challenge because money is involved and no one likes to lose their money!

The way this challenge works is you set a goal in 5 areas of health and wellness:

Movement
Strength
Nutrition
Self Care
Alcohol

You have the reigns, you get to set your own goals. You then decide how much you want to wager, minimum is $50. All wagers are collected via Venmo. You keep track of your habits on a habit tracker I provide you and at the end of the month, you send the habit tracker back and you get your money back if you met all your goals. If you do not meet your goals, the money is split amongst all those that succeeded.

We start January 5th and if you are local, you are more than welcome to come to unlimited bootcamp classes in January! If you are not local, no worries, I have you covered on the exercise front as you will have access to our private FB page where I have a library of strength training follow along videos as well as FB LIVE classes throughout the month of January.

You are invited to join us!!

KMax indoor women’s bootcamp is in full swing over at Curio Dance (Washington Ave., Stillwater, MN).

We are a mighty community of local woman simply trying to age more gracefully and for sure, get stronger because muscle = longevity.

Someone stopped me after class last week and told me about her 65lb dog who is unable to walk right now due to a tumor and she was able to carry him up their stairs without a problem because she has made strength training a consistent practice in her life. FYI…dog had surgery and very hopeful they got all of the tumor out❤️

We are not throwing around crazy weights. We bring a set of dumbbells that challenge us with the mindset that our physical well being is foundational to our mental well being, our circulation, our lymph flow, our blood sugar control, etc. The best way I can describe the style of coaching I believe in is focusing on general athleticism, nothing extreme, consistent movement with and without weights.

My schedule is not robust, I get that. Some women have mentioned it is good there are not many options because they can’t make excuses that they will go after work or go tomorrow. Basically, less options makes them stick to their plan.

However, to make up for the limited in person options, I also teach FB Live workouts on Fridays. They are recorded so there is a library of home workouts for you. I think this option is so important because you can lift heavier at home (if you invest in a few sets of dumbbells) and it can give you that 2nd or 3rd workout for the week. I hope to offer an additional FB Live workout in the new year which will help build the library of workouts even more.

I hope you will come and try out some classes for FREE! Christmas Break is coming up, maybe you have some time. As a coach, I should say, you need to make time because you absolutely can if any of this speaks to you.

It will be hard the first time, sure, it’s a bit intimidating, I’ve been there, however, you will feel the warmth of this community of women pretty quickly❤️

Eating whole, clean food is medicine to your body! I know this is not news to you but I also know it is tough to be consistent that is why I love to hold clean eating challenges throughout the year to motivate you to “clean it up.”

The next challenge is our 2 week spring challenge that begins Monday, April 15th.

You will receive a 14 day meal plan with recipes, grocery shopping lists, and ideas for substitutions if need be. Every day I will be posting something motivational or educational to keep you engaged.

Also included is an optional steps and strength training challenge.

The program is 100% online. You will have access to the portal on your desktop or on a free app you can download.

Once you register, you will be given access to the portal and a welcome message. There is a chat feature and you will start to receive daily nutrition & lifestyle tips starting on Monday, April 8th.

Join me for my next Hormones & Fat Loss Class at Stronger Wellness & Nutrition (near Kowalskis in Stillwater, MN) on Monday, March 11th at 5:30pm.

We talk a lot about the lovely “transition” into menopause in this class and one of the strategies is to boost fat loss is to stimulate the hormone oxytocin more often. Oxytocin is the “love or happy” hormone! We need more of this hormone because when we feel safe, loved, cared for, we tend to feel less stress, less anxiety and just healthier all around.

Your body needs to feel SAFE to let go of excess fat. Come learn the strategies and steps to start implementing right now.

Just think how far ahead you will be a year from now if you don’t quit. There are ups and downs in our health journey, sometimes you are able press harder and other times you need to pull back some. I think of it as a gas pedal, always keep your foot on the pedal, adjust how hard you press during peaks and valleys but always keep moving forward. You will succeed if you never quit!

Freezer meal prep is my favorite “tool” to teach busy moms who want to eat cleaner but struggle to find the time to cook.

I teach the “no cook” method. You simply gather your ingredients, chop/cut/measure and dump into a freezer meal bag. You do not cook until the day of eating.

I am telling you, when I discovered this method, the overwhelm disappeared. I used to cook everything and then freeze it and it would take all day long. It was tough to motivate myself to set aside a whole day to prepare all those meals. Now, with the “no cook” method, I can prep 10 bags (sometimes more) in an hour to 90 minutes. That is 10-15 meals!!

Right now in my membership, KMax Health Insiders, it is Freezer Meal February. I have challenged the members to prep at least 2 freezer meals (recipes I provide them) each week in February. Worst case, they will have 8 meals prepped by the end of the month. That is amazing and such a relief to see them in the freezer.
