Paloma was born 2/20/2020.
I was 43, almost 44.
They didn't examine me after a really hard delivery, talk to me, let me come in to the office, or call me back. I had no check-ups, no groups, no classes, no gatherings, no informal bump-into-you-out-and-about.
The physical, emotional/mental, and social effects of this on women like me need to be studied and analyzed. Analyzed so that we understand what happened to us, have some direction going forward, can give ourselves the grace we probably deserve, and society can think hard in the future about setting us aside, shutting us in, and then being like "OK, go to work, life is this new normal now, all good".
We are not all good.
