Autism Sensory Festival
April 9, 2022
On April 9, 2022, Tonya Newberry and friends will be bringing the first "Autism Sensory Festival". This will be a sensory-focused festival South Fulton, Georgia in conjunction with THE PLAYPAD located at the SHOPS AT HAMPTON OAKS, 7580 Springbox Dr. Fairburn, GA 30213. The festival will cater to children and parents in the area to have a day committed to the Autism Spectrum Disorder community needs and concerns.
The following sensory activities will be available at the festival:
Bounce houses with a maze and slides and a smaller open one.
A sandpit with rubber objects as a scavenger hunt
A slime table with plastic aprons and gloves
Large Puzzles
And a huge bubble maker
We welcome therapist and specialist in all fields relating to Autism to participate in this once a year event. Will you join us by setting up a tent with brochures and information relating to your clinic.
It is my duty as a parent advocate that has a non-verbal child making strides to help our community. I truly hope you will join us for this free event on April 9th.
