Lambda Kappa Sigma is an international, professional pharmacy fraternity that strives to cultivate valuable leadership skills, foster personal growth, and enhance professional development in the field of pharmacy. LKS incorporates undergraduate and graduate pharmacy students and practicing pharmacists. Since its establishment in 1913 at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, LKS has grown to over

22,000 members with 44 collegiate chapters and 36 alumni chapters internationally. Alpha Xi Chapter was founded on September 26, 1959. Members serve the community through a number of professional projects, which include the annual Folic Acid Campaign, and other activities geared towards women's health and awareness. LKS has cultivated many student leaders and role models on campus such as student advisors, committee chairs, and student officers. Members of the Alpha Xi Chapter are equipped to balance time to have fun and strengthen bonds of friendship while also developing professional skills to become excellent pharmacists.
