🌸 Clove (Syzygium aromaticum)
Traditionally used for: Toothaches
Benefits
• Naturally numbing due to the compound eugenol
• Antibacterial and antifungal
• Helps calm gum inflammation
Things to know
• Clove oil is very strong and should be diluted
• Only provides temporary relief for dental pain
• Not recommended in large amounts
🍯 Honey (Apis mellifera)
Traditionally used for: Mouth sores and irritation

• Natural antibacterial properties
• Soothes inflamed tissue
• Supports healing of small wounds
Things to know
• Contains natural sugars
• Raw honey works best for medicinal uses
• Never give honey to infants under 1 year
