We use part of our sales to support a Brazilian organization called Cities without Hunger (or Cidades Sem Fome in Portuguese). 🇧🇷

Cities Without Hunger promotes sustainable agriculture in São Paulo, Brazil' largest city, through urban organic vegetable gardens.

The gardens create job opportunities, increase accessibility to healthy food and fight malnutrition. Cities Without Hunger also creates gardens in public schools in underprivileged areas, making school meals more nutritious for kids aged 7 to 17.

In 2019 Cities Without Hunger established 27 urban gardens and 51 school gardens, producing 800 tons of food!👏👏👏

Fabio Cosmo da Cunha, known in the capoeira world as “Mestre Lobinho” began training in 1998 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Lobinho has been teaching in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti area of Michigan for 5 years. Lobinho has taught kids programs from ages 2 to 18, adults, and specializes in persons with disabilities.

As a young boy, he was a student of a non-profit in Brazil to help under privileged kids in the community. Coordinated by his teacher and under his guidance, Lobinho had the opportunity to train and participate in many capoeira events around the world and is well known across the globe.

By the time Lobinho was 16, he was already teaching classes to other adults. When he was 18, he was working in local preschools teaching capoeira full time in Brazil.

Lobinho has extensive knowledge of capoeira and is a wonderful teacher for persons of all ages. And now he is also SambaSnax ambassador!
